About Us
At NeuroEdge Growth, we believe the best leaders understand people and we believe that understanding the brain at work gives them a great advantage.
Every conversation, decision and interaction shapes how people think, feel and perform. When leaders understand how the brain responds to stress, uncertainty, trust and connection, they create workplaces where people can do their best work.
Our neuroscience-informed leadership development combines brain science, psychology and practical leadership tools to help leaders build psychologically safe, high-performing teams where people and organisations thrive.

Who We Are
NeuroEdge Growth was founded by Isabel Leming, a brain scientist and psychologist with a passion for helping individuals and teams connect and unlock their full potential.

Our Mission
Our mission is to equip leaders with the knowledge, confidence and practical skills to lead themselves and others well. By helping leaders understand how people think, feel and perform, we create healthier workplaces where individuals, teams and organisations can thrive.

FOUNDER
Isabel Leming
I NeuroEdge Growth started it because I’d seen first-hand what happens when leadership ignores how people actually think, feel and perform.
Throughout my career—in neuroscience, mental health and healthcare—I saw brilliant people struggling, not because they lacked ability, but because they were working in environments that created fear, uncertainty and chronic stress.
Those experiences changed how I viewed leadership.
I realised that many leaders weren’t lacking care or good intentions—they simply hadn’t been given the knowledge, confidence or practical tools to lead people effectively.
NeuroEdge Growth was created to change that.
With an MRes in Brain Sciences, a background in Psychology and Sports Studies, as well as credentials as an NLP Master Practitioner and Advanced EFT Practitioner, I blend scientific insight with powerful personal development tools.
My background includes behaviour support on brain injury wards, mental health therapy and coaching, managing and launching over 8 specialist mental health clinics across the UK, and delivering national training programs for practitioners. I’ve also consulted with founders to help launch private clinical services across the UK, ensuring compliance with CQC and healthcare regulations.

I have varied leadership experience gained working in the education. authorities, schools and regionally for the government sector.
At school level I have worked in primary, special and secondary schools in London and Suffolk. My last school leadership post (2002 – 2007) was as a Headteacher of a Primary PRU and manager of a behaviour support service which I established from inception, gained national recognition for its innovative work and was also recognised as outstanding in 2006 by OfSTED, along with my leadership
I have been fortunate over the years to work with many great leaders in the field of education, one of whom would say: “You don’t need to be sick to get better” and so my approach is to work collaboratively with school leaders with a focus on well-being, growth and development as opposed to focusing solely on things you can measure easily and deficit models of improvement. As such I prefer to take a coaching approach, (I have an international coaching qualification) by working with school leaders to identify barriers and issues together and finding creative solutions that build on the existing strengths and resources of the school and its leaders.
